You Unfriended Me?

So this co-worker unfriended me on Facebook recently. I try and decipher why.

#FML

I am so past this last trimester, you have no idea.

The prenatal yoga I've been doing has helped tremendously but I am still so tired and achy. My hips still get sore at night, they also ache throughout the day, I'm physically tired all the time. I'm just over it right now. I'm ready for this kid to be born.

Then I think to myself, I still haven't packed the hospital bags, the crib isn't ready and I haven't even registered at the hospital yet, soooooo yeah.......I'm not ready for this kid to be born yet.

I guess I took advantage of my experience from my first son I didn't really prepare for this one. I was fussing over so many things with Marcus, now with the second kid there's things I haven't even given a second thought to.

My one fear is that it this lasidasical attitude I have will translate to my parenting. With being home every day I feel like I'm in a rut. I need to jump out of this, and soon, I honestly don't have much time.

WIC

So they day has come when I finally need to join WIC. Due to a series of unfortunate events I am now unemployed, so that's leaves one income coming into the house, and unfortunately it's not much. So to ensure my family can eat I had to trump to the WIC office, check my pride at the door, and get some government assistance.

Now I may be confusing WIC and food stamps but I honestly didn't receive much. This is pretty much what we get for the month, and trust me, it's not much.

I remember seeing a picture of two refrigerators showing a comparison of the stock of a working person and one on government assistance. The full one was of the person on assistance. Like i said before, I may be confusing the two, but my fridge sure as hell didn't look like that when I was done shopping.

I just found it interesting how people demonize others who are taking assistance without knowing their situation. I can tell you from experience this is the LAST thing I would ever want to do but I have to feed my kid right?

So until I give birth to this kicking and wriggling bundle of joy in my womb I won't be able to go job hunting. So the WIC office and I are going to be pretty acquainted
